Our client, a manufacturer of products for diverse industries, has an immediate opening for an experienced Patent Agent in their rapidly expanding Medical Products group. The candidate will work as part of a close-knit team: interfacing with both the legal and product groups in patent drafting, prosecution, and strategic portfolio development; supporting the legal group in freedom to operate issues, and patentability and validity analyses; identifying and enforcing trade secret matters; and counseling and training internal associates and suppliers.

Applicants must have a minimum of 3 years of experience, and a degree in Mechanical Engineering, or experience working in the medical device arts. Great low cost of living location. Competitive base salary and profit sharing.
